Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Leh (3505 meters/11567 feet above sea level).

On arrival at Kushok Bakula airport Leh - 3500m above sea level you will be transfer to hotel and check in. Half day at rest for acclimatization. Evening drive to visit Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist white-domed Stupa on a hilltop in Changspa, It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura and part of the Peace Pagoda mission. Later visit Leh Palace. In the evening walk around local market. Dinner and Overnight stay at the Leh hotel.

Day 2 : Sham Valley

Day start with Hall of Fame, which was constructed by the Indian Army to commemorate the sacrifice of soldiers during Indo-Pak wars , Kali Mata Temple, followed by Spituk Gompa - an 11th century structure , Next on the list of attractions is the majestic Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Nestled deep in the Himalayas, it was constructed by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to honour the visit of Guru Nanak Dev - the founder of the Sikh faith. Drive another few km to witness the magic of Magnetic Hill that defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road, it seems to slide up and further. Driving through a picturesque landscape, we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar River. Proceed back to Hotel vai same route. Dinner and Overnight stay at the Leh hotel.

Day 3 : Excursion to Khardungla Top (45 kms/2 hrs approx one way)

After breakfast, drive to Khardungla pass. This road is the highest motorable road of the world. Admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass (18,390 feet) After spending some time at Khardungla, return back to Leh & visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Market in the evening. Overnight stay in Leh hotel.

Day 4 : Excursion to Pangong Lake (140 kms/3-4 hrs approx one way)

After an early breakfast, travel to Pangong lake via Changla Pass (17,586 feet) the third highest pass of the world. Pangong Lake is a salt water body of 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots”. Enjoy outing along the banks of the lake and then drive back to leh for an overnight stay at the Leh hotel.

Day 5 : Departure

Morning you will be transferred to airport in time to board flight to onward destination.
